Managing Associate

Overview 

The primary purpose of the Managing Associate is to assist the Firm leadership team in the overall marketing, growth and development of the Firm.

You Are...

  • An experienced professional with 2-3 years in the industry, preferably with field management or agency distribution system preferred. 
  • A proven Producer Group Leader who either has an existing team or is eager to build one over time.
  • Skilled at developing relationships with individuals from all leverls and backgrounds. 
  • A natural coach, and mentor who enjoys developing others and seeing them succeed. 
  • Independent, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial, with strong initative.
  • Aligned with the mission, values, and culture of the firm and able to instill them into others.
  • Highly organzied, with excellent planning skills to maintain effciency, and effectiveness. 

What You'll Be Doing...

  • Recruiting goal minimum of 3 recruits per year.   
  • Must qualify for Leaders Club on personal production.   
  • Assist the Managing Director in identifying target markets, and implement recruiting, and training programs to take advantage of new marketing opportunities.  
  • Actively participate in company-sponsored leadership development to prepare for new responsibilities in a changing environment.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years insurance industry sales experience, including filed management or agency distribution preferred.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Professional designations such as CLU, ChFC, or CFP preferred.
  • FINRA 6, 7, and 24 preferred. Proven ability to build and manage client relationships with professionalism and integrity  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational, and planning abilities. 
  • Ability to tailor coaching to individuals.
  • Understanding of training systems, products, and resources, and their proper application for development.
